Mission Opportunities

All of Hawai'i will know that Baptists are meeting in Honolulu, not because of long lines in restaurants, crowded beaches, or full hotels, but because of changed lives across the region. There will be a host of opportunities during the Congress for you to serve and share your faith with the people of Honolulu and the wider state.

Mission projects will be offered before, during, and after the Congress which will allow you to live out your faith in some new and exciting ways. These experiences will be posted on this website for fast and easy planning.

Women's Leadership Conference

All Baptist women are invited to attend the Women's Leadership Conference in Honolulu, Hawai'i, July 24-27, 2010, immediately preceding the Baptist World Congress. The conference, held at the Sheraton Waikiki, will have the theme, "In Step with the Spirit," based on Galatians 5:25, "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit."

Visit the BWA Women's Department website at www.BWAWD.org for more detailed information about the program and registration, or call the BWA Women's Department office at +1-703-790-8980 Ext. 149.
